Make A Fogger For A Terrarium

Terrarium humidity is important to amphibians.

If you own reptiles or amphibians, you know that their survival and success depend upon their environment, not just on the food they eat. These animals are very particular about their living conditions, and their owners must be aware of the temperature and humidity requirements of their particular breeds. Amphibians, for example, require a great deal of humidity in their terrarium, so much so that it's often necessary to augment the humidity level in their environment with a fogger to keep them happy.

Instructions

1. Affix one end of the tubing into the output vent of the humidifier.

2. Seal the tubing and humidifier output with caulk. You may want to make a couple of layers to ensure a good seal.

3. Fill the humidifier with distilled water and place it near the terrarium.

4. Place the other end of the tubing into the opening of the terrarium lid so that the tube extends into the terrarium one to two inches. Cut the tubing to length, if necessary.

5. Turn on the humidifier and allow the terrarium to reach the desired humidity level.
