Homemade Organic Mosquito Repellent

Protect yourself against mosquitoes with a homemade repellent.

If you don't have a screened-in porch, summer evenings can quickly become a nightmare when mosquitoes are on their hunt for blood. Store-bought mosquito repellents are highly effective, but there is some debate about how safe the chemicals in them are. There is no need to take a chance with those products when you can make your own organic mosquito repellent. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Mosquito Repellent and Killer for the Air

1. Pour 1 pt. of water into an empty spray bottle.

2. Add 1 1/2 tsp. organic dish soap to the spray bottle and combine the two ingredients. This gives you a homemade insecticide that is safe to use around humans and pets.
