Get your flu shot in time to beat the flu season.
Keep your immune system operating at full capacity this season. During the fall and winter months, an increased percentage of outbreaks will occur. The flu affects the elderly and young most severely, but everyone needs protection. Get vaccinated at a pharmacy or clinic near you. Though not every pharmacy and clinic provides free flu vaccinations, several do. With some quick research, you may be able to find one within your area. If not, you may have additional options.
Instructions
1. Spend a brief time either consulting the yellow pages or using your Internet search engine to dig up a list of pharmacies and local health immunization clinics in your area.
2. Call each pharmacy and clinic, one by one, to inquire as to whether or not they offer free flu shots. If so, you will most likely need to make an appointment.
3. Check also with your employer. Some companies provide free flu shots for their employees.
4. Call your school if you are a student. They may be offering free flu shots.
