Control overgrown brush with Bayer Advanced products.
Weeds and brush are a natural landscape for wild animals and are preserved at nature parks for visitors to view native plants. Homeowners, however, may find it necessary to destroy these plants on their property to cut down on insects and the spread of poisonous plants. Does this Spark an idea?
Uses
Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus kills many types of brush including wild bramble berries, poison oak and ivy, and 71 other types of weeds. Bayer Advanced states that this product will kill the roots also. Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus should be used when plants have grown leaves.
Mixing
Bayer Advanced Brush Killer Plus is available in a premixed or concentrated product. Mixing instructions for the concentrate are to use four fluid ounces or 1/2 cup of concentrate to one gallon of water for treating 500 square feet. Bayer Advanced recommends using full-strength concentrate on stumps only.
Considerations
Precautions for this product include immediate medical treatment if splashed in your eyes or swallowed, and rinsing your skin for 20 minutes if exposed skin is contaminated. If treating unwanted plants near plants you do not want to kill, hold a sheet of cardboard between the two plants, and spray only the leaves of the unwanted plant.
