Use Powerpoint On Your Cell Phone

Share your PowerPoint presentations on your cell phone.

PowerPoint gives users more ways to create and share their presentations. For example, they can share their presentations on their cell phones. The PowerPoint Web App and PowerPoint Mobile 2010 allow you to make light edits or run the presentation on your cell phone. You need to have the latest version of PowerPoint installed in order to use these applications. You also need to use the Windows Mobile Device Center to synchronize the program to your cell phone.

Instructions

1. Download the Windows Mobile Device Center file that came from the Microsoft website (See Resources). Or, install the CD, if you have one. Follow instructions for properly installing the software.

2. Plug one end of the USB cable into your computer's USB port. Plug the other end into your cell phone.

3. Click "Next" on the setup wizard. It will now create a connection between your cell phone and computer.

4. Check off the PowerPoint Web App or Mobile 2010 program. Select any relative programs or PowerPoint projects from the drop-down box.

5. Choose "Next." The screen will display that your phone is synchronizing with your computer. Click "Finish" when this is complete.

6. Click the "OK/Menu" button on your phone. Navigate to "Media" or the PowerPoint icon, depending on how your phone is set up. Click on the PowerPoint app or a saved PowerPoint file.

7. Select the "Insert," "Design," "Animations" and "Review" keys to make edits to your presentation. You can change the design, change the font and add sound.
