Fog A Home For Insects

Flies, fleas, roaches, hornets and wasps are all potential problems home invaders. One solution is to fog your home or a section of your home to rid it of these pests. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


Prepare Your Home


1. Cover all eating surfaces, utensils, plates, cookware and appliances.


2. Secure all pets outside of the area that will be fogged. Cover their food and water dishes and their cages.


3. Close all windows and doors leading to parts of the home that are not being fogged or lead outside.


4. Extinguish all pilots on appliances that use propane or natural gas.


Set Off the fogger


5. Place the fogger in the center of the area. If there are larger areas, then use more than one fogger.


6. Set off the fogger and leave the room, closing the door behind you.


7. Allow at least 2 hours for the fogger to work. If the instructions indicate a longer period, then follow those guidelines.


8. Open windows and doors to the outside to allow ventilation of the area that was fogged. Allow fresh air to circulate before spending any great amount of time in the fogged area.


Clean Up Afterwards


9. Remove and dispose of the used fogger.


10. Uncover all items and places that were covered before the fogger was used.


11. Wash all surfaces and utensils that may have been contaminated by the fogger. It is also a good idea to vacuum and dust other areas just to ensure that surfaces are clean of the residue of the fogger.
