The world's largest underground lake is located in Namibia. Dragon's Breath Lake was discovered in 1986 and has a surface area of almost five acres.
Cheetahs
There are almost 3,000 cheetahs in Namibia. Scientists believe that this is the largest concentration of cheetahs in all of Africa.
Malaria Free
Most of Namibia is considered to be malaria free. Much of northern Africa is not.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a baby in Namibia. This child, whom they named Shiloh Nouvel, was born on May 27, 2006 in a small, local hospital.
