Black Flag fogger units are available in many types such as a spray bottle, a manual pump, a unit that uses propane gas or an electric fogger. An electric fogger by Black Flag requires electricity to heat the insecticide and expel it from the fogger. You can use a fogger inside or outside your home to treat various types of insects. To properly perform this task, first prepare the machine for use.
Instructions
1. Set the fogger on a flat surface, such as a bench in a garage or a sidewalk outside.
2. Remove the cap for the insecticide reservoir by turning it counterclockwise. Place the fill spout into the neck or opening. The fill spout is a separate piece that comes with the fogger.
3. Pour the insecticide into the reservoir until it reaches "Full" line. If you cannot see the "Full" line, stop pouring the insecticide when it reaches just below the top of the reservoir.
4. Set the cap back on the reservoir opening and tighten by turning it clockwise.
5. Plug the power cord for the fogger into the plug end of the extension cord. Plug the prong end of the extension cord into an electrical outlet.
6. Press the "Power" button to turn on the fogger. Allow the machine to heat up for a couple of minutes.
7. Press the trigger every 3 to 4 seconds to pump out the desired amount of fog.
