Doityourself Spray For Mosquitoes

Mosquitos can be a hazard, but you can make your own mosquito repellent to keep them at bay. .


Mosquitoes are not only a nuisance, but they are a hazard to your health as well, carrying diseases such as malaria and West Nile virus. Spending time outdoors in the summer can be frustrating if you are not armed with mosquito repellant. If you are concerned about the chemicals used in commercial sprays because of the possible environmental or health effects that they may have, you can make your own natural mosquito spray. Store-bought sprays can also cause allergic reactions or skin rashes in some individuals. It this is the case, a homemade, natural spray may be an alternative option. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Measure out 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar and pour it into a bowl.


2. Pour 1/3 cup witch hazel into the bowl with the vinegar. If you do not have witch hazel, you can also use cheaper-grade vodka.


3. Add 5 drops of citronella or eucalyptus essential oil.


4. Pour the ingredients into a spray bottle by using a funnel. Secure the cap on the bottle and firmly shake it to mix the contents together.
