Gemmy Lowlying Fogger Instructions

Gemmy's low-lying fogger is a consumer-grade unit that uses commercially available glycol fog solutions. This solution is pumped through a 400-watt heat exchanger that vaporizes the solution into thick fog that hangs close to the ground, rather than dispersing into the air. These units are typically used for Halloween parties, amateur musical presentations and school plays. After an initial warm-up time, the Gemmy will generate approximately 40 to 60 seconds of fog until the machine pauses to reheat. A quart of fog solution should produce about two to three hours of fog, depending on volume settings and frequency of the sprays. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Make sure the fogger is on a level surface. Unscrew the cap of the solution reservoir on the top of the fogger and fill the reservoir with fog fluid. A see-through gauge on the back of the fog machine will show you when it's filled.

2. Plug the power adapter into a three-prong outlet. Plug the remote control into the jack on the back of the fogger. Turn the main power switch on the back of the unit to "On."

3. Turn on the "On/Off" switch on the remote control. Wait approximately five to seven minutes for the fogger to warm up. When the green fog indicator lights, the machine is ready for use.

4. Press and hold the red button on the remote control for the desired amount of fog. After 40 to 60 seconds, the fogger will automatically stop producing fog in order to reheat.

5. Release the fog button and wait approximately one minute for the machine to reheat. When the machine is ready, the fog light on the remote control will light again.

6. Turn the switch on the back of the fogger to the "Off" position after use and unplug the power cord.
