Diy Mosquito Killer

Mosquitoes are pesky insects that leave raised bumps where they bite.


Mosquitoes are pesky insects that leave raised, itchy bite marks. They can be a problem when trying to host an outside event, so it's important to find a way to control them. Many in-store products can be used to kill mosquitoes, but it's possible to make a mosquito killer at home. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Cut off the top of a 2-liter bottle with an X-acto knife. Make the incision at the top of the plastic label on the bottle. Put the top of the bottle to the side.


2. Wrap black craft paper around the bottle. Secure the ends with tape.


3. Fill a medium container with 2 liters hot water.


4. Stir 1/2 cup brown sugar into the hot water.


5. Fill a large bowl with ice cubes, and then put the medium bowl inside the large bowl.


6. Let the sugar water sit in the ice bath for 10 minutes.


7. Pour the sugar water into the 2-liter plastic bottle.


8. Add 1/4 tsp. yeast to the sugar water.


9. Turn the top of the bottle that was cut off earlier upside down. Place the top of the bottle upside down inside the bottle.


10. Place the bottle outside, and change out the sugar water every two weeks.
